Important Information for Parents:

Who Are We?

Our coaches are certified at a minimum by the Scholastic Clay Target Program. We also have coaches that are certified instructors/coaches with the NSSA and NSCA. The team’s official Adult Volunteers have completed background checks allowing them to work with youth programs.

We do not tolerate bullying or profanity and expect our athletes to support each other, their coaches, and the club.

Approximate Costs

Shooting sports are expensive. An athlete will have an annual fee of $250 which will cover targets and membership fees related to SCTP and NSSA plus approximately $400 for ammunition. If they do not have a shotgun, then there is this added expense. Shotguns vary wildly in cost, but a reliable semi-auto or O/U shotgun will run $800 to $1200+ in cost. Do not buy one before you try out some of the ones the other athletes have. We want you to make a good decision the first time. We will discuss this topic further when we meet in person.

If you and your youth decide to become competitive, there is also travel cost, match fees, and food and drink costs. The program will require travel primarily in PA and Ohio, competing against other youth teams. Match fees vary but typically run from $35 to $100 depending on the event and organization. It is a great time, and we make sure to make it fun.
